The Georgia World Congress Center Authority in downtown Atlanta operates three important event venues of the region. The Georgia World Congress Center(GWCC) is a large convention center and hosts many events throughout the year. The other two venues operated by the authority are the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park.

The Georgia Dome is a sports stadium that has been the home for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons for the past 18 years. The Fountain of Rings, with computer controlled lights, music and water jets, is among the main attraction of this venue. The park consists of a lot of green space, artwork and many rock gardens.
