Centennial Olympic Park Events Information Atlanta

Believe it or not, Centennial Olympic Park's neighborhood was a multi-block old and shabby place that no one would notice 20 years ago. Initiator of the remarkable change is Billy Payne, CEO of Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. A brilliant idea came to him suddenly when he looked out of the office window. That is to turn the shabby neighborhood into a grand park for 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Since then, Centennial Olympic Park has attracted numerous visitors.

Today Centennial Olympic Park becomes a significant venue for holding community-wide free events such as Wednesday WindDown, 4th Saturday Family Fun Days, 4th of July Celebration and more.
