Centennial Olympic Park Ice Skating 2011

Ice skating atop a frozen pond is a fun and exciting way to spending a cold winter. In Atlanta, frozen ponds are in relatively short supply, because of the mild winters in this city. As the Atlanta's sole outdoor ice skating rink, Centennial Olympic Park Ice Rink has become one of the most exciting winter events in downtown Atlanta.

Now entering its thirteenth anniversary, guests can enjoy covered seating along with dramatic lighting on the real ice and holiday melodies. It is really a great place to take your family or friends and celebrate the 2011 holiday season.

As the rates are very affordable, you don't need to worry about your budget. Spending only $7 with an additional $2 of skate rental, each visitor can enjoy the fun of skating for 90 minutes. The rink is open everyday, from Nov. 19, 2010 to Jan. 30, 2011, including holidays.

Best of all, there are also college student and group discounts. As a fun holiday activity in downtown Atlanta, the ice skating rink has cooperation with neighbors and other attractions of Atlanta downtown for some special deals.

College Student Discount: The rates for each college student are $6 with free skate rental on limited days. Make sure to have your valid student ID with you. The limited days are regular operating hours on Mondays or Tuesdays between Nov. 22 and Dec. 14 or between Jan. 3 and Jan. 25.

Group Discount: The ice rink offers free skate rental to every member of a group of 20 or more. But groups need to contact the park administrative office at 404-223-4412 at least one week ahead. Group rates are valid for the following dates and times only:
