It has got lake to handle storm water runoff and two major attractions i.e. Zoo Atlanta and Atlanta Cyclorama. Zoo Atlanta, also known as Grant park Zoo holds various animals like tigers, lions etc. Panda Exhibits is one of best events hosted by piedmont parks. Atlanta Cyclorama is a cyclorama which features 1864 Battle of Atlanta from Civil War.

It consists of many old trees which make the park spectacular and take away the feel of Metropolitan area. It is the safe place to jog. It has got independent vendors, instrumental players who add flavor to nice atmosphere around.
