Atlanta Cup Soccer Tournament

The Atlanta Cup soccer tournament is held on the weekend of Labor Day every year. This tournament is open for selected teams which are registered with the Affiliated Association of US soccer. Both boys and girls can take part in this tournament and the age group starts from under eleven and ends at under nineteen. The fixture is set in a manner to ensure maximum competition. The fixture is based on the previous year's s standing.

The teams have to play three round robin games each and the second round is the semifinals of the tournament. Atlanta Cup approves several hotels for the player's accommodation and any team looking for accommodation can stay in such a hotel. Any player taking part in this tournament must also be part of the Affiliated Association of US Soccer.

The registration fees vary from $385 to $480 and the fee depends on the age group under which the team falls; the under eleven teams have to pay the least fee and vice versa. In case a team is not accepted in the tournament then the money is usually refunded. The Atlanta Cup Soccer Tournament is scheduled to start on the 9th of September, 2009.
