How to reach Piedmont Park? There're several ways for visitors getting to Piedmont Park conveniently. You can choose by car, by MARTA, by bike or even on foot.

By MARTA - As the major rapid-transit system in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, MARTA offers convenient transportation options to Piedmont Park. There're two nearest MARTA stations within a few blocks from the Park: Arts Center and Midtown.

After exiting the Arts Center Station, you need to head south on West Peachtree street for only one block. Then you can go left on 14th Street and pass through 3 blocks. You'll see the 14th Street entrance to Piedmont Park right in front of you.

If you exit from the Midtown Station, head on 10th Street towards Peachtree Street. Keep on walking on 10th Street and the Park entrance on this street will soon be on your left side. Or you can choose to turn left on Piedmont Avenue and continue to walk two blocks to the intersection of 12th and 14th Street gates to access Piedmont Park.

By Bike/ On Foot - Several park entrances are restricted to cyclists and pedestrians, including the park gates on the crossings of Piedmont Avenue & 12th Street and Piedmont Street & 14th Street. You can also get to the park by Park Drive Bridge from Monroe Drive. Access the Park via the 10th Street & Charles Allen gate is also permitted.

By Car - Visitors are not encouraged to come by car as parking in and around the park is very limited. Parking Fees: If you just drop off and parking for a while, say about 15 minutes, there is no charge. Parking within 30 minutes will cost you $0.75. After that, each additional half an hour costs one dollar. However, the maximum daily parking rate is 15 dollars.
