Apart from the beholding beauty of nature, on a lucky day you may even be in the company of movie celebrities, some good old boys, or bird watchers. Silent sun rises on the beach and parties - some of which can be of epic proportions are quite common.

Among all the good things that Tybee Island has on offer - one black spot is the regular incidence of pirate raids. But, then this should not overtly worry you over rob you of the pleasures of a wonderful vacation because as the old adage goes, the forewarned is the forearmed.

You have several of miles of beaches to enjoy and in between your trip to the beaches you can also take time off to visit an array of museums, forts and a lighthouse of vintage origins. Also spend time looking at some of the endangered birds and animal species. The younger tourists have the opportunity to rent bikes or kayaks to enhance their vacation experience.

Accommodation at the Tybee Island will never be a challenge since you have a choice of hotels/motels and even condo rentals.

Your Savannah travel will be incomplete without watching the sea turtles and the oldest light house that is still operational in Tybee Islands.
