The Fox Theatre

The Fox Theatre Atlanta is a grand movie place built in the 1920s. It is located in Midtown Atlanta at the corner of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Peachtree Street. The theatre hosts various artistic and cultural events including the summer film series, Atlanta Ballet, and the Broadway Shows. Tours are also conducted in the theatre on some days of the week with a fee.

The theatre's unique origin and Moorish designs sets it apart from the other theatres of its era. The building of the theatre was not originally supposed to be a movie theatre instead it was designed and planned to be Shriners of Atlanta's new headquarters. The building was completed by the funding of movie mogul William Fox who took a 21 years lease on it.

The Fox Theatre Atlanta has the Egyptian Ballroom which has been lavishly decorated with sweeping ornamentation and columns which create the settings for wedding receptions, association functions and corporate events. This place can host a dinner or luncheon for 50 guests, pre-show cocktail parties or post show extravaganza for 1200 guests.

The Grand Salon in the building which has been renovated to its original grandeur also plays host to various events and functions. The Fox has a state of the art kitchen, provides completes beverage services and suggestions for caterers, musicians and other supporting casts.

The Grand Terrace is a beautiful outdoor terrace connected to the Grand Salon. This terrace in the Fox Theatre Atlanta always enjoys a lovely breeze and is lit romantically, providing the guests during an event both indoor and outdoor facilities.

The Landmarks Lounge of the Fox Theatre Atlanta is a 30 people hospitality Suite which provides a 1929 movie palace experience to the guests. The Suite has Moroccan tiles walls and floors, red velvet banquets, gold leaf and mosaics. The Landmarks Lounge is the perfect pre or post show destination for the clients on Atlanta Georgia travel.
